My first attempt at concert photography was at Seka Aleksić’s concert, which was held in Ljubljana yesterday, on the 22nd March 2008 at Gospodarsko Razstavišče. I was accompanied by Vodovnik Anže. At first, we were entertained by DJ Adi and DJ Edo. They were followed by Domino Band and Miro Todosovski with his Ujdi Band. Two and a half hours into the concert it was finally time for the Balkan diva.
Well, that’s the official part.
The atmosphere varied like night and day. The first, Domino Band, wasn’t all that good, which you can see on the picture below.

Since there was a lot of time to kill, one couldn’t do much but take pictures
Upper-right, the only moment in their performance, where the lead singer showed any enthusiasm whatsoever.
As I’ve mentioned before, they were followed by Miro Todosovski with his Ujdi Band, which actually weren’t bad. They warmed up the crowd. And finally, around 23.30 the “Queen” came one stage and the crowd exploded.
And as everything else, our fun also came to an end. The 10minutes they gave us to photograph her from the front were up, so we were forced to the side of the stage. At that point, Anže and I decided, that we’d rather get something to eat.
I would like to thank him, for letting me test his Nikkor 18-200 and 70-200. As well for keeping me company.
